An Austin Therapist for Creative, Curious & Unconventional Adults
I work with creatives and artists, adults with ADHD, expats and third-culture adults, and people reimagining their lives in midlife. My approach draws primarily from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and existential therapy, with sessions available in person in Austin and online across Texas.
Therapy for a life that doesn’t follow the usual script
Austin attracts people who make things, question assumptions, change direction, and build lives that may not resemble the ones they were expected to live. That freedom can be exciting—and it can also bring uncertainty, isolation, burnout, or the persistent feeling that you should have figured things out by now.
Therapy can give us room to explore what is changing beneath the surface: the identities you have outgrown, the patterns that keep repeating, the relationships that shape you, and the parts of yourself that may be asking for something different.
Who I work with
You may recognize yourself in more than one of these places. These aren’t boxes to fit into, but starting points for understanding what may be bringing you to therapy.
Creatives & Artists
For artists, writers, designers, performers, freelancers, and creative professionals navigating burnout, identity, self-doubt, visibility, or the complicated relationship between your work and your worth.
ADHD & Differently Wired Adults
For adults exploring ADHD, overwhelm, motivation, emotional intensity, inconsistency, masking, or the experience of living in systems that were not designed for how your mind works.
Expats & Global Lives
For expats, third-culture adults, digital nomads, international professionals, and others living between cultures, countries, languages, or ideas of home.
Midlife & Reinvention
For adults questioning the life they have built, changing careers or relationships, starting over, or reconsidering what meaning, purpose, and belonging look like now.
A curious, collaborative approach
I don’t begin with the assumption that something is wrong with you. I’m interested in how your patterns developed, what your inner conflicts may be protecting, and what your life might be asking of you now.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Parts Work
IFS helps us approach the different parts of you with curiosity rather than judgment. We might explore the part that overworks, avoids, criticizes, performs, withdraws, or tries to keep everything under control—and begin to understand what it has been attempting to do for you.
Existential Therapy
Existential therapy makes room for the larger questions beneath everyday struggles: Who am I becoming? What matters to me? How do I live with uncertainty? What does it mean to choose a life that feels like my own?
I also draw from attachment-informed therapy, mindfulness, and self-awareness when they support the work.
Therapy in Austin and Online Across Texas
I offer individual therapy for adults in person in Austin and online for clients across Texas.
In-person therapy may be a good fit if you value the rhythm of meeting in a shared physical space. Online therapy offers more flexibility and allows us to work together from elsewhere in Texas without adding another drive across Austin to your week—an underrated therapeutic benefit.
