Questions About Starting Therapy

My fee is $150 for a 50-minute individual therapy session through Alchemy Collective.
A limited number of reduced-fee sessions are available through a sliding scale. My sliding-scale spots are currently full, but you're welcome to ask about future availability.

I do not accept insurance directly and sessions are considered private pay.
Alchemy Collective can provide a Superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement varies by plan, so I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits.

Yes. I offer in-person therapy in Austin, Texas, as well as virtual therapy for clients throughout Texas.
I also have a particular interest in working with expats, digital nomads, third-culture adults, and Americans living abroad. In some circumstances, virtual therapy may be possible while you're living or traveling internationally, depending on the laws and regulations of the country you're physically located in at the time of our sessions.
If you're currently living abroad or moving between countries, feel free to reach out and we can talk about your specific situation.
-
Yes. I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation before scheduling your first session.
It's an informal opportunity to tell me a little about what brings you to therapy, ask questions, learn more about how I work, and get a sense of whether we'd like to move forward together.
